Alla Barney
In August of 2005, a jury in Burlington County Court found
Stuart Barney Guilty of the September 29, 2003 murder of his Ukranina wife, Alla Barney. The Courier Post reported that Barney
stalked his wife in the Kindercare parking lot just hours after a Superior Court judge finalized a restraining order and granted
Alla Barney temporary custody of their son, Daniel.
During the trial, Stuart Barney attempted to portray himself as the victim
of abuse at the hands of his wife, which is typical of batterers.
